DESCRIPTION:Nottingham City Council’s Adventure Team are introducing a Campfire Leader’s Course for Nottingham Schools Trust school staff. The Campfire Leader’s Course is designed to give you the skills\, knowledge and experience (in a controlled environment) to independently deliver a safe\, enjoyable and educational Campfire session. The course will be led by two Forest School Practitioners (Level 3)\, who both have relevant and recent experience. \n  \nDetails of the course are: \nDates – 3rd and 4th March 2020 (attendance required on both days) \nTimes – 14:00 – 17:00 each day \nLocation – Colwick Park \nCourse Price – £60 per delegate \nDelegate Numbers – Maximum 18\, Minimum of 5 \n  \nWhat is involved in the course? \n\nChoosing your campfire area\nRisk Assessment and Risk Management\nTraditional fire building / Lighting\nHow to prepare a campfire programme\nSome traditional campfire songs\nToasting marshmallows\nPreventing and managing incidents\n\n  \nThere is an assessment process to the course\, designed to result in a competency certificate being issued. \n  \nTo book a place\, please email Helena Cresswell at Helena.Cresswell@collegest.org.uk \n
